App details
The MassDOT GoTime app provides drivers with information from the 130+ “GoTime” signs posted across the state of Massachusetts.
The signs, positioned on highways including Interstate 91 and the Massachusetts Turnpike, provide updated information on travel times to major interchanges.
Using the app, for iOS or Android, users can select favorite signs and get real-time information, before they begin their trip. Drivers can make decisions before getting on the road about whether they should drive, take transit, or travel at an off-peak hour, if possible.
The application was developed with ArcGIS AppStudio and utilizes Esri Basemaps from ArcGIS Online. It brings in real-time data which is pulled from MassDOT servers and provides the latest travel time information.
