A data source is a service or file containing geographic data that is accessed by a data layer and displayed in maps or scenes. The data format is either vector (point, line, or polygon with attributes) or raster (image). A data source can be hosted as an ArcGIS data service or by other services. Examples include feature services, vector tile services, and GeoJSON files.
