fully offline app

A fully offline app is a type of offline app that is designed to work without a network connection. It is commonly used when working in the field far from any network, or behind a firewall that prohibits internet access, or when data is too large and impractical to transfer over the network. With fully offline apps, the device has to have all of the data that the app needs to work without a network connection. While you can still edit data offline, synchronizing the edits or pulling down changes from a server is not possible since that requires a network connection.

Fully offline apps can use mobile packages or data files.
