item page

An item page is a web page in ArcGIS Online or the developer dashboard used to manage the properties for an item and the content it references such as a web map, hosted layer, or file. The properties available depend upon the item type and whether the user viewing the page is the item's owner; owners can set item properties such as name, description, thumbnail, and advanced permissions such as sharing and download. Item pages set to public are discoverable by any ArcGIS user. Item pages also contain data management tools that can be used to perform data maintenance and publishing.
