A member, also referred to as an organization member, is an individual with an ArcGIS account who can sign in to an organization in a portal. A member's identity is authenticated and their ability to interact with ArcGIS resources in the portal is determined by the privileges associated with their account. They can create, manage, and share content, collaborate with other members, and perform tasks. Members may have roles such as administrator, publisher, or viewer, each with different capabilities and responsibilities within the organization's ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise.
