mobile data source

A mobile data source is a data format used to build offline apps. Types of mobile data sources include the following:

  • Offline maps downloaded from a web map.
  • Offline data from data services.
  • Mobile packages authored in ArcGIS Pro.
  • Data files.

Some mobile data sources, such as offline maps and offline data, include synchronization features to upload changes made offline and download updates from the original data source.
