A mobile data source is a data format used to build offline apps. Types of mobile data sources include the following:
- Offline maps downloaded from a web map.
- Offline data from data services.
- Mobile packages authored in ArcGIS Pro.
- Data files.
Some mobile data sources, such as offline maps and offline data, include synchronization features to upload changes made offline and download updates from the original data source.
