This page lists system requirements for the 200.5 release of ArcGIS Maps SDK for .NET, which contains APIs to develop apps for Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows UI Library (WinUI) 3, Universal Windows Platform (UWP), and .NET MAUI. Each API has specific system requirements for your development machine as well as for the machines and devices to which you deploy your app.
Development requirements
Develop apps with ArcGIS Maps SDK for .NET on Windows using Visual Studio to create WPF, WinUI, UWP, and .NET MAUI apps. On macOS, you can target Android, iOS, and macOS platforms using Visual Studio Code with the .NET MAUI extension.

- Minimum supported: Android 8.0, Oreo (API level 26)
Processor architectures
- armeabi-v7a - For targeting Android-supported devices with CPUs based on the 32-bit ARMv7 architecture.
- arm64-v8a - For targeting Android-supported devices with CPUs based on the 64-bit ARMv8 architecture.
- x86 - For targeting Android-supported devices with CPUs that support the x86 (or IA-32) instruction set (typically emulators).
- x86-64 - For targeting Android-supported devices with CPUs that support the Intel64 architecture.
Graphics
ArcGIS Maps SDK for .NET uses OpenGL ES technology on Android to render 2D map views and 3D scene views. Rendering in a map view uses OpenGL ES 3.0 or above if available on the device. Otherwise it uses OpenGL ES 2.0 or above. Rendering in a scene view requires OpenGL ES 3.2.
You may need to configure graphics acceleration when using an Android emulator. For more information, see the document Configure hardware acceleration for the Android Emulator.
OpenGL ES 3.0 for geoanalysis
OpenGL ES 3.0 or above is required if you are using the geoanalysis tools. These analysis classes primarily perform work on the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU).
iOS deployment requirements
Operating systems
- iOS/iPadOS 17
- iOS/iPadOS 16
macOS deployment requirements
Operating systems
- macOS 14 (Sonoma) , using Mac Catalyst
- macOS 13 (Ventura) , using Mac Catalyst
