The current plugin version supports Unity 2021.3.x and 2022.3.x LTS. Other versions may work but are not supported.
This page provides ArcGIS Maps SDK for Unity requirements that may differ from the Unity editor minimum requirements. Links are provided to Unity 2021.3.x and 2022.3.x LTS documentation where you can find additional system requirements information.
Development system requirements
To develop applications with Unity, see the Unity specifications for your environment.
The following system or software versions are supported by ArcGIS Maps SDK for Unity:
Windows
- Windows 11 version 21H2 (build 22000) or higher
- Windows 10 version 21H2 (build 19044) or higher
For scripting:
- Visual Studio 2022 17.3 or higher
- Visual Studio 2019 16.9 or higher
macOS
- macOS 14 (Sonoma)
- macOS 13 (Ventura)
- macOS 12 (Monterey)
Processor architectures:
- Apple Mac computer with Intel processor (x86-64)
- Apple Mac computer with Apple silicon (M1, M2)

Deployment system requirements (Unity Player)
Requirements for deploying applications developed with Unity can vary by platform. See the following Unity documentation topics to determine the requirements to run an application with Unity Player:

Windows
Operating systems:
- Windows 11 version 21H2 (build 22000) or higher (64-bit only)
- Windows 10 version 21H2 (build 19044) or higher (64-bit only)
All applications built with ArcGIS Maps SDK for Unity, and deployed on Windows, require: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015-2022 version 14.37.32822 minimum.
macOS
Operating systems:
- macOS 14 (Sonoma)
- macOS 13 (Ventura)
- macOS 12 (Monterey)
Processor architectures:
- Apple Mac computer with Intel processor (x86-64)
- Apple Mac computer with Apple silicon (M1, M2)
