require(["esri/views/draw/MultipointDrawAction"], (MultipointDrawAction) => { /* code goes here */ });
import MultipointDrawAction from "@arcgis/core/views/draw/MultipointDrawAction.js";
esri/views/draw/MultipointDrawAction
This class uses the view events to generate a set of coordinates to create a new Multipoint geometry using Draw. When the draw.create("multipoint") method is called, a reference to MultipointDrawAction is returned. You can listen to events on the MultipointDrawAction instance, which allows users to create a multipoint that meets criteria specified by the application.
Known Limitations
Currently the MultipointDrawAction is only supported in a MapView.
function enableCreateMultipoint(draw, view) {
let action = draw.create("multipoint");
// Give a visual feedback to users as they move the pointer over the view
action.on("cursor-update", function (evt) {
createMultipointGraphic(evt.vertices);
});
// Fires when the user clicks, or presses the "F" key on the view
// Can also fire when the "R" key is pressed to redo.
action.on("vertex-add", function (evt) {
createMultipointGraphic(evt.vertices);
});
// Fires when the "Z" key is pressed to undo the last added point
action.on("vertex-remove", function (evt) {
createMultipointGraphic(evt.vertices);
});
// Create a point when user clicks on the view or presses the "Enter" key.
action.on("draw-complete", function (evt) {
createMultipointGraphic(evt.vertices);
});
}
function createMultipointGraphic(vertices) {
view.graphics.removeAll();
let multipoint = new Multipoint({
points: vertices,
spatialReference: view.spatialReference
});
graphic = new Graphic({
geometry: multipoint,
symbol: {
type: "simple-marker",
style: "square",
color: "red",
size: "16px",
outline: {
color: [255, 255, 0],
width: 3
}
}
});
view.graphics.add(graphic);
}

Method Details
-
Inherited from Accessor
Since: ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript 4.25Accessor since 4.0, addHandles added at 4.25. -
Adds one or more handles which are to be tied to the lifecycle of the object. The handles will be removed when the object is destroyed.
// Manually manage handles const handle = reactiveUtils.when( () => !view.updating, () => { wkidSelect.disabled = false; }, { once: true } ); this.addHandles(handle); // Destroy the object this.destroy();
ParametershandleOrHandles WatchHandle|WatchHandle[]Handles marked for removal once the object is destroyed.
groupKey *optionalKey identifying the group to which the handles should be added. All the handles in the group can later be removed with Accessor.removeHandles(). If no key is provided the handles are added to a default group.

Incrementally redo actions recorded in the stack. Call canRedo() prior to calling this method to check if this method can be called on the action instance. Calling this method will fire the vertex-add or vertex-remove events depending on the last action.
Exampleif (action.canRedo()) { action.redo(); }
-
Inherited from Accessor
Since: ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript 4.25Accessor since 4.0, removeHandles added at 4.25. -
Removes a group of handles owned by the object.
ParametergroupKey *optionalA group key or an array or collection of group keys to remove.
Exampleobj.removeHandles(); // removes handles from default group obj.removeHandles("handle-group"); obj.removeHandles("other-handle-group");
-
Inherited from DrawAction
-
Maps the given screen point to a map point.
ParameterscreenPoint ScreenPointThe location on the screen.
Returns
