ArcGIS Web AppBuilder retirement
ArcGIS Web AppBuilder is being retired. Web AppBuilder uses Esri's legacy ArcGIS API for Javascript (3.x), which will be retired in July 2024. The retirement of Web AppBuilder affects ArcGIS Web AppBuilder in ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Web AppBuilder in ArcGIS Enterprise, and the ArcGIS Web AppBuilder Developer subscription. For the full announcement, see the ArcGIS Web AppBuilder Roadmap for Retirement blog post.
Apps created with Web AppBuilder will continue to work after retirement. However, you should consider migrating your apps to ArcGIS Experience Builder. It is recommended that you start new app projects in Experience Builder.
Retirement dates
All three versions of Web AppBuilder will be retired by the end of 2025.
- The ArcGIS Web AppBuilder developer edition will be retired in July 2024, coinciding with the retirement of ArcGIS API for JavaScript (3.x).
